Cosford 3 days

Post by jaff8 »

Hi i have my 3 day specialist interview for PTI at cosford next week and was just wondering if anyone could give me some advice of what to wear when turning up!

Obviously i need to take a suit for my interview etc etc but do i need to turn up wearing one, just i have a long journey on a sweaty train first and then when i get there from what i can understand you go straight into activities and briefings!

So obviously first impression suit would be better but is that what i am meant to wear???

Any answers soon as possible would be great cheers

I've never really had any dealings with the RAF, however, the military in general like a smart appearance so I would suggest arriving in a shirt and tie etc although unless you've been told otherwise you're probably allowed to wear whatever you like.

ive dne the 3 day PTI specailist tests.

you can wear whatever you want when turning up, but dressing smartly gives off a good first impression. i wore a suit when i turned up and everyone else was dressed smartly too.

Ride the train in sweats, 10 minutes prior to arrival go get fresh. Get your suit, tie, shoes, out of your suit bag, put them on somewhere quiet...or not, and you'll be so fresh and so clean.

And I know the bathrooms are the size of an Irish mans penis but freshen up there and then change into your suit between carriages.

That's what I would do...that or arrive a day early and stay in a quaint little B&B so you can awake, get changed, and cab it up to the place.

How did you get on on your 3 day interview?

Could you tell me the requirements for the fitness for a female. Am hoping there were some women on the course you took.

I am hoping to get through (fingers crossed) but dont want to fail at that stage

Thanks
