Running with careers office

Post by mags »

Hey guys, i got to show the officers in the careers office how quick my run time is (i need to work on it)

My question is: What if i was to miss the run time deadline with them, would they still sent me to selection? or tell me to come bk when im more fit.

Thank you

Depends on who your recruiter is I think - last year I was getting a run time of 11 minutes, which is obviously far too slow, and my recruiter kept booking me dates for the ADSC that I didn't even want, a couple of times the first thing I new about him booking me in was a travel warrant through the post with no other explanation given at all.

Then again, I've heard stories of people getting sub-9 minute runtimes and being put off of the Parachute Regiment altogether.

Best bet is to give it your best shot obviously, see how you do and how long it takes to get your time down and talk to your AFCO again :)

Best of luck either way though!
