Yes, that's correct. As everyone is field now, with the demise of GBAD, it made sense to just add the extra training required to achieve CR status onto the end of the TG course. No need to come back later and you will be of use to your unit immediately.hopeful gunner 17 wrote:hi mate ive got my TG course on the 20th of april and i was told when i was on my PGAC that the 32 weeks are due to the fact that you pass out at 22 weeks and earn your mudguards and then you have a extra 10 weeks which is your field gunners course in which you earn all your vehicle licences, extra training etc then you will be posted with your designated squadron
