Swimming??

Post by shields398 »

Hi
I've got my PGAC on the 4th of Feb, and I'm worried about my swimming. My fitness is fine I can do everything I need, but if I fail the swimming, will they fail me on the whole course or pass me and tell me to work on it?

Thanks

I'm in the same boat as you mate but my PGAC is on the 21st of April...my swimming isn't too hot either.... I read a leaflet I got from the careers office and it says" IF YOU CAN'T SWIM DONT WORRY, WE WILL TEACH YOU" but then you have to do a swimming assement to get in so how do they plan on teaching people to swim once they're in the RAF.
Don't get me wrong I can swim but I'm not too strong ha

Alright.

I'm looking to join the Regiment. The thing is I'm not even that great at swimming, but all you can do is give as good as you got.

Do a bit of swatting before the test.
