Here's what I heard: There's no real property rights there and there can be dodgy laws such as if the previous owner hasn't paid property taxes for 20 years the tax is registered to the house and so if you buy it you get lumbered with the taxes dating back 20 years.
Then again there's risks in any business, so maybe Bulgaria is a good bet if you don't shove all your money there.

Try Martin Mere.

Otherwise, be respectful of the 'birds' who are members on here.

Depends on the time of year you are thinking of going.

The Canaries are guaranteed sunshine all year round (feck ... should have been a travel agent.)

The daughter and her mates went last year and had a blast.

Ayia napa's by far the best place I've been to and I've been to all the places mentioned . As for the drug problem .....what drug problem? It's the same as anywhere where young people and money are . I didn't get offered or see any drug use ... well apart from a large amount of alcohol :D . As for Bulgaria woudn't ever recommend it , the taxi driver who picked us up was armed , he later told us that the Bulgarian mafia enjoy pulling up cab drivers and robbing them and they especially favour tourists ....great. Corfu's good but quite boring in most places apart from the main town of Kavos which has a good nightlife . Ibiza's an immense experience just very , very expensive , up to 70 quid for club entry and a tenner for a beer . Anyway enjoy your holiday mate.
Rant over . :P

I agree with the above

Done magaluf twice and ayia napa once. This year we're chanting Cancun in Mexico. Seriously though I never saw any drugs in Ayia Napa. Even if you do whats the problem when you can just say "no sorry mate not for me" and 99.99% it'll go no further than that. Ayia Napa was great laugh and if you go theres 2 things you HAVE to do (probably goes with all places but i can only really speak for napa.) A booze cruise during the day to chill out, get drunk and dive off the boat to swim with the sharkies and the fantasy boat party for which reps will come round your hotel etc. Both are good in their own right.

As for Cancun, a group of about 10 of us are thinking about hiring a villa as opposed to paying for a hotel (might work out about the same price and be twice as much banter), anyone got any experience of doing this?

edit

Oh and watermelons. Gotta get a round of watermelons.
