Sometimes people do that, don't worry about it. One of my mates did it to me so many times (well twice) that I know always finish my texts to him with kisses as a wind up, I don't know how his girlfriend feels, she always looks at me weird :-? . Test to see if your gay, when you go to the club do you bring a guy or a girl home? As long as your mates are sure your not gay, they'll laugh it off, if not you may have some explaining

Who gives a flying one? Gay or not .... matters not one bit to me.

What does bother me, though, is Artist carping about being propositioned by gay guys on a regular basis.

I don't bloody think so! Not even butch lesbians would give him house-room!

Don't worry, I do it all the time regardless of who it is. It's just habit, unless of course, You meant it :o

One of my mates signs off on MSN to me with "cya babe xxx" and he's not gay! (It's Hemmingway- he's on MFAT from time to time)

ShaZza, if your not going out with a girl just how many kisses is acceptable when you text her? Got to get this down to a fine art you know! Because is xx like being friendly? Like if you go xxxxxxxxx is that over the top? I just really don't know!

A girl may get the wrong impression and think you like her a lot with that many kisses, lol well that's what I would think

Do it for humour. 8)
However someone you don't know well might think it's a bit strange so my advice would be not to do it to them if you can't be botherd to explain your humour to them.

What is a friendly 'X' amoungst friends ey? Mmmmwah! X

*Not to self- Next time I text ShaZza only 3 kisses!*

To anybody else, my question was a joke, I'm really not that anal about how many kisses go on the end of my texts, they'll have what there're given!!

Too true AJ, XXXXXX! :D

On serious note though, A friend of mine ( Female) told me that sending just one 'X' at the end of a text is quite flirtatious. So just a word of warning some people see just 1 'x' as flirty.

I think younger girls do it more out of habbit than anything else. Either that or some of my cousins 15yr old friends want some kiwi loving :o

But at least for people at my age (22) it seems that x's and o's arent really used on things like msn, more in a card or letter. And only when you mean it.

But in saying that you lot seem to be into the free love with all those x's flying around, so hell, have some from me!!

xxxx

P.S. oh my! what about O's!? does that need a new thread altogether??

As in how some people say:

xoxoxox

for kisses and hugs, so when is it appropriate to put in O's?
