28th Jan Start RT

Post by Dave171 »

Hey all,
I'm starting RT on 28th Jan. Too long away still in my opinion. Is there anybody else out there that's got the same start date? Drop me a message if you have. It would be cool to hear from you.

Or if anyone has any questions on PRMC or whatever as I know there are loads of people on here with worries.

I’m going for the POC personally but I’m sure the fitness levels between an officer and a person who has completed the PRMC are very very similar I was just wondering what you did to get in shape for it?

Thanks :D

Dunno too much on POC. Its a little harder but dunno if by much.

basically iv been training for around 7 months before the PRMC. i run 3-4 miles every 2 days. I used to do alot of wieghts at the gym which really improved upper body but been told since not to do much of that. Just press ups, Sit ups and pull ups at home are good. in morning and evening.3 sets of each.i just did as many as could each time.

Still doin same sort of training before i go on 28th. What sort of times and distances are you gettingwith your running?

That's cool. Can't start too early in my opinion. I started too late really but still got through. When are you thinking about signing up? When you are 16?
