Hey all!

Post by Dan1989 »

Hi, I joined mfat a few weeks ago now, but due to lack of free time, couldnt introduce myself.

My name is Daniel, I'm living in (South) Yorkshire. If I post, I may not be able to reply instantly because I have no internet at home, and limited free time.

I am training for my PRMC, and will post my training plans etc.. for I need help to get better.

I had originally planned to join the Navy, did all my tests etc. and attended the RNAC. and got acquainted to the tests. though they are not as demanding as the RMs. I went to my AFCO the day after RNAC and asked if I could change to RM (I had always wanted it originally) and so here I am. Just need to pass my interview again and then roll on PRMC! after application of the 7P's!!

My current training programme is this:

Monday - AM -- Circuit . Press Up pyramids - PM -- Basic Run

Tuesday - AM -- Circuit - PM -- Step (with Rucksack)

Wednesday - AM -- Fast Run, Grid Sprints - PM -- Swim

Thursday - AM -- Circuit, Press Up pyramids- PM -- Step (w/Rucksack)

Friday - AM -- Circuit - PM -- Basic Run

Saturday - AM -- Tests - 3 mile Run (1.5 mile 'warm up',, 1.5 mile best) over hilly route -- Press Up - Sit Up - Pull Up maximums

PM -- Bleep Test, and Grid Sprints.

Sunday is Rest Day!!

I need help to get better so any reccomendations I am thankful for..

I am currently averaging a 7min 30 second pace for my basic run and hitting a 6min/6min 30 sec pace on my fast run.
Swim is just a breaststroke session, easy going.
I can post my circuits if you want to check em out.
and I know the Step seems a bit out there but it works, and I'm trying to accustom myself to load carries with it.

Any criticism is welcomed.

Now THAT is a quote I've heard more than my fair share of!
I swear it's my Dads favourite saying when it comes to talking to me!
