PRMC PASSED

Post by hearneboy »

Hey everybody, thought I'd come on and say thank you for all your information on the PRMC. I passed it, and when it sinks in that you have it’s an amazing feeling.

Just a little word to some people with little injuries, I went down with a bad shoulder I dislocated two weeks ago, and I had a bag leg from running too hard on it before without warming up. They hurt all the time when I was down there, just smash loads of ibuprofen pills and get on with it, I did and I never have to do another PRMC again hopefully.

Once again THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!

Bottom field I actually enjoyed. Gym test 2 ahhhhhhhh the pain!

What scores did you get?
just smash loads of ibuprofen pills
... my doctor said I shouldn't, otherwise I'll do what I did last time... black out :-?

Hopefully I can get my PRMC sorted for November.

Well done!

Results well, I can only tell you about gym test one because I haven’t received my results yet. Id love two find out my assault course time I went as hard as I could there!!

Push ups = 65
Sit ups = 76
Pull ups = 10

Btw lads they say the swimming test is an assessment which is right, but if you really cant swim and your poor at everything else then you might be looking at a failure, basically because they feel it will take them two long to teach you how to swim! but they wont say that two you, just be able to do two lengths of a full swimming pool breast stroke and be strong. You’ll be fine then.

hearnboy was your PRMC on the 16th? Because I was there too and passed. It was quite an enjoyable experience but also hard. I'm going to the AFCO on Monday to get my RT date.

Agreed, I also felt Gym Test 2 was harder than bottom field!

Didn't do any runs around the camp though, obviously missed out there!

Well done hearneboy and robsta!!

Well mate, when you do bottom field your hurting but you crack on because you want it that much you all pull together and work hard.

Gym test two is a hang out because of bottom field, plus you cant hide and they're watching you all the time so you have to give it everything. Then when you come to sprinting at the end just give it anything you have left in the tank, because that's all they want to see. They don't really care who's winning or not just who's trying their best.

Robsta, yes my PRMC was 16th to 19th you might remember me, I was one of the three taffs down there that day. Add me on msn if you like

You had brown hair, purple shirt and got bollocked for having your top button undone on our last day weren't you, because you mentioned mfat in the i.t room?

Have you been given your RT date yet?

And you're right, on the bottom field it doesn't really matter how well you do, you just have to crack on and don't quit.

Gym test 2 knackers you out big time, my back is killing me.

You lads must have been hiding on the bottom field because I found it much harder than gym test 2. I was shaking for about an hour after bottom field, I found gym test 2 ok.
