Located in York with a detachment in Gateshead. 25 (V) MI Coy provides security in support of deployments throughout the world, whether on operations or training. Field Security tasks involve the production of risk assessment profiles and the dissemination of advice in order to ensure the security of UK forces, including protectively marked material.

I am currently in the process of joining 26 company in Keynsham.

You first have an initial interview, where an officer will assess if you are suitable to go through to selection.

Next is the medical.

Then a selection weekend.

I have just passed the medical and will be doing selection mid Sept.

The link above will tell you the basics, but you dont get told too much. OPSEC I believe.

Hope this helps.

Next selection will be April as they are held twice a year.

It was an informal interview, pretty laid back.

I had a brief on the Int Corp in general and details on pay, commitments etc.

Approx 80% of applicants are graduates, and they can afford to pick and choose as quite a few people apply.

Not being a Graduate does not have seemed to hindered my application, but im sure sept will prove more difficult.

Apperently Int Corp TA have very few restrictions on man training hours, and depending on your free time you can do as many courses as you like.
You can also do All Arms Commando Course or P Company to attach to RM or Paras.

Interesting. What are the fitness requirements and how often do they do selection weekends?

Sounds like a good unit to get into.

Interesting.
Sure is.
As it's over a year old.
Looking at Intelligence then?
You'll fit right in. 8)
