Not sure on this one. I'll ask some of the lads and see if I can find out for you.

it depends on the injury sustained matey . Sometimes it can be a permenent not suitable for service or sometimes can be 6-12 months , for me it was four years due to it been diagnoses as asthma even though it was a chest infection in the end.

This was a preparation for final exercise. Believe me if the RI's want to thrash you in Hunter the last thing they would do would be a yomp.
Thats why they have a swimming pool

Greg I totally agree with you not all of us are lucky enough to get through RT without injury!!! Negative comments about Hunter piss me off
ex nod was diagnosed with chronic compartment syndrome rejoining eventually.

I heard that you were only eligible for Hunter Troop after the first 56 days of training otherwise if you get injured before that time scale you get MD.

Well one lad in my troop fell over in middle of week 2 during the 3 mile run and tore all his ligaments in his ankle and he got put in Hunter, so I suppose it's down to individual circumstances.

I heard that too but I think it's if an injury you came to RT with flares up, not if it's a new injury.

Been over three years since I left and I've been told that all records etc from when I was in training have been ditched. This is common practice apparently as most people would re-join prior to 3 years.

The only things that are kept are medical records I think and it's those that I've had the problems with but I'm getting there slowly but surely!
