There's no correct brand to buy IMO. Be it Saucony, Nb, Asics whatever else it's the type of the trainer that is 10x more important. I ran in a neutral running shoes without knowing I was a fairly heavy pronator thus causing ITB in my knee. Get a pair that suits your running style, body posture not for what it says in sparkly writing on the side.

Indeed... I guess you could say "If the shoe fits, wear it" but that would be ever so cheesy. :P

Mine running shoes are Saucony but I brought them because they fitted perfectly and felt great too run in, not because of the brand or anything else like that (I’d never herd of them until I purchased this pair)

Mine are New Balance, they are pretty new and bloody uncomfotable and the moment. Not sure weather i should just carry on running in them and break them in, or use them for casual wear for a while until they get softer.

Any ideas?

Cheers :D

You shouldn't have to break in your running shoes, all modern running shoes should be good to go (as long as you have the correct style for your size, gait, foot width etc...) out of the box.

If you're getting blisters on certain parts of your feet from running in them, it could be down to your feet not being used to the work. If they're uncomfortable just 'to wear' then you have a problem.

If the latter is the case take them back or keep them for casual use.

Ok, thanks. I thought that they would be ok for running, even though they were straight out of the box. I haven't had any blisters, i don't think that they are wide enough.

Best to go and get some measured up I suppose!

Cheers
