I'm 25 and if it's deemed 'sad' to want to talk normally and not looked down upon as sub-human then I'm all for it

I honestly reckon it must be harder to type like that than to write normally.

Anyway back on topic...

If you become really poorly then you can either fight through it and crack on with the day or you can go to sickbay to get medical treatment. When i feel ill mate i don't say anything unless i think its serious and if i was 100% sure i couldn't physically take part in PT then i would go to sickbay. but try stay away from sickbay as much as possible as you will get a bad reputation pal

The PM I got about having no life and being a 'nobed' was funny though, he'll obviously change it but look at his profile while it's still there

Darren, classic on the profile. The best thing about "text speak" is that the term itself is horrible too, I prefer good old English speak.

Also are there many young'uns in and how do you feel their coping?

Cheers for any answers.

Hi eagleye, admin isn't hard its just getting used to it fella, its takes longer for the young lads to get used to as they haven't had much experince in doing the amount of admin that needs doing, but it will notice after a week that you have become an admin machine.

As for the quick eating and changing etc its not too bad, you will be feel as though your under alot of pressure but thats the aim of it to see how well you cope with it, but you just need to think 1 step at a time at what you are doing and you then get there in the end and again it becomes a normal daily routine for you so its nothing to worry about it mate, just don't always be last man getting ready.

we have a fewyoung lads in our troop, theres 3 lads that are 16 a few are 17 and 18 including myself and you can tell who the 16 year old lads are because of there attitude and maturity but they are good lads, one of them is from the falkands aswel so when i feel homesick i sometimes think to myself how that guy feels  overall though the young lads ain't honking at everything, they are doing well.

What do you do on the weekends when you dont have a long weekend home? How long are long weekends home anyway? When i was on PRMC i noticed that before anybody walks into a building with a rifle they shoot in the air, whats that for?

Have you got an example what you do in both the strength and cardio sessions? Have many lads had problems with their shins?

Maritime_marine when we go ashore for the week ends we just have a look around town, if there is any kit we need to buy then we will get them and finish off in the pub, plus when you have a long week end to go home you leave friday after noon and you have to be back on camp Sunday night. Fodd answered your other Q for you mate :D
