Tom,

Heed the advice of fodd and others who HAvE served. Your advice isn't 90% up to date and correct - it's complete rubbish. you know zip about Para Reg, the Regiment or anyone else called Reg.

And i'm completely calm and open to proper debate. Wind your neck in.

Regards,

CptStabbo.

Mate cptstabbo isn't looking for a fight he's just proved you are talking crap mate i dont know you but from your attitude if you join the forces i think the words 'arms bend arms stretch' will be often said to you my freind  remember there are a lot of people on these forums that have served or are serving show them the courtesy and respect they deserve.
ex nod was diagnosed with chronic compartment syndrome rejoining eventually.

currently in australia as im traveling the world before i rejoin the marines.

Wholley understood. :D

Fodd - I don't even expect courtesy or respect mate - I just have a dislike for duff info being passed to lads as gen as i'm sure we all do.

The TA and the forces in general are having major recruitment issues - let's try and encourage people through the doors by being upfront and honest.

I'll get off my soap box now.

Ok, In future I will not advice/information unless I definitly know its true etc. I would also like to apologize to CptStabbo for sparking off a little argument there and I get your point and also apologize to fodd and Wholley too, it will confuse people if they dont get accurate info. This forum and its helped me loads through out my way and I dont want to get a reputation as a trouble maker etc. Thanks

Upfront and honest?? Since when has joining 21 been about that? Its all about the stories and rumours.. 'Hills were higher in my day', 'selection was harder', 'one guy was swallowed by a bog', 'loads of AT oppertunities'... etcetc. In fact everything is an illusion.. I'm not even sure 21 exists... Oh wait.. lucky they took some photos to prove it. :P

KD,
they took some photos to prove it.
I think you're very much mistaking them for those northern monkeys!!

At least those photos weren't texted round the globe!

Vile and vicious rumours... Mobile phones don't exist up north..

*Edited to change to thick and sticky rumours (viscous) to grossly immoral rumours (vicious)*.

Selection was harder at 3k/h King!? I'd love to hear how that one works out.

This Tom geezer seems like just the sort of bloke for SAS(R) (or more specifically 21!). You'd fit right in there mucker; give them a call.

Love you all

I resemble that comment!

I feel my reputation precedes me. Anyway - I only ever want the best for you all. It's what your father and I always wanted.
