Graduates

Post by phoenix86 »

Anybody know (or have a vague idea) what percentage of officer recruits are graduates? And would you say that a graduate has a better chance of getting accepted than a non-graduate?

any help would be great.
Thanks :D

My AFCO said that 80% of RAF Officer entrants ARE Graduates and so that speaks for itself. How true this really is I don't know.

Quite frankly though, a person in their early-mid 20's will have more life experience and most likely greater interpersonnel skills than some 17/18 year old who's come out of school/college.

I'm 24 and completed by degree last year. I'm currently in employment but the RAF has always been something I've wanted to do. Just finally made my mind up!

In my opinion and from talking to others, Grads certainly stand a better chance providing they're also as fit and physically robust as the younger gens. :)
