I did a search but i couldnt find waht i wanted. What is the cut off level on PRMC for the bleep test, i.e: if you dont reach level X you will fail.

Well for me its level 11 as i didnt do to well on the mechanical comprehensionpart of my test. But i dont think their is a paticular point you have to get to. Obviously the further you get the more points you will get, If their is a cut of point i would imagine its easy enough to get to. If you can make it past the three mile run stage then you should easily reach it.

Depends on your aptitude test scores (the better your score the lower you need to get) but I'm sure it's 12.5
check out http://www.royal-navy.mod.uk/server/sho ... .6415#PRMC

that lists everything on the PRMC
Hope that helps.

Each test on prmc you get a score between 1 and 6. We were told we had to get higher than ten, although the guys who didnt were allowed to stay, so i think if you get less than ten you get zero for that particular test.

No you have to get at least 17. Each event giving a maximum score of 6 Press ups sit ups pull ups and bleep test. Obviously thats 24 in total. To get full marks on the bleep test you have to get to at least 13 i think. level 11 gives about 4 point i think. Full marks for sit ups you have to get between 66 and 80, push ups 55-60 and 6 pull ups for full marks

For POC we had to reach level 11 as a minimum, although we were told if you're scraping in at 11, they weren't going to be happy.
POC: Passed 21 June '06
AIB: Passed 28 June '06
AIB round 2: Failed!
PRMC: 26 June '07: Passed
RT: 24th Sept '07
Week 27 - Final Ex after Easter leave - blargh
Mrs Bevell of the AIB is still officially the nicest lady in the world.

Bleep test training

Post by ofens »

Does anyone know where/how to go about training for the bleep test?
Is it something likely to be possible at my local sports centre?
Thanks for any help.

Most leisure centre's / fitness centres have the facilities for this or you could download the bleep test mp3 and stick it on your mp3 player, mark out a gap of 20 or 25 m not sure which the marines do and crack on yourself.

When i watched a PRMC on the Look at Life course, the bleep test stopped at level 13 for everyone.
Is it definately 20m? As people have told me different things and i forgot to ask my AFCO.

The bleep test stops because theres no point in going any further (not the end of the tape). Its 20 metres.
