The issued boots i have, one boot fits perfectly, but the other feels like its slightly too small, when i go down to Lympstone, would there be a chance of myself getting a singular boot?
Speedos, i know that these are needed but i've got some shorts that are like speedos, but are Shorts of lycra material, will this be ok?
Does a shoe cleaning kit consist of anything other than, polish and brushes, and them yellow dusters?
This is for the start of RT, so if you can squash any of my queries it would be most obliged, thank you.

I can shed some light on two of the three,
Speedos, i went down with speedos so i was alright but some people had the skin tight half shorts you are talking about, they were told to buy speedos. So I would avise getting some before you go. Just in case.
My shoe cleaning kit comprises of simply two brushes, one off brush and one on, the yellow duster cloths and polish. If you want or need anything else just take it down and just store it in your footlockers.
Hope that brings some help.

I always found a large scrubbing brush was good for washing all the mud from your boots after being out on exercise etc.
Toothbrush is essential for scrubbing the bottom of your boots, and also for putting boot polish on them.
Dont forget to put them on a sheet of paper after cleaning the bottoms, otherwise you will get loads of dust and sh*t on them and end up doing them again.

Don't go buying the 'gay boy' speedos just yet. Different PTI's do it different ways. Some people in our troop still have the baggy shorts we were just told you'll be doing yourself a favour if you buy speedos as there'll be less drag, most however tell you to ditch the bermuda's.
Therefore the hotpants will be fine under some PTI's, wait till you get there to find out, you won't get thrashed or anything.
