Its just simple things like measuring heart pressure, height, weight.
Previous surgery, the balls-cough-test, hearing test, eye test (if you haven't done one, but they'll probably do it again for a laugh like with me)

Oh your the "eyesight appeal" lad?

Well good luck mate, i didn't have to do another eye test on my recent medical (the first one was done about a year before my first medical)

Kick up a fuss if he wants another one.

Generally speaking they look for a hernia and other problems nothing to worry about, just get on with it

If you've had any recent injuries (they ask if you've had any recent joint pain) tell them no. I mentioned on the off hand about a slight niggle in my knee from 2 days before and the doctor ended up saying I might fail and have to come back in 6 months. I had my medical on the 24th of October and even after ringing them twice, they still havnt got a result back to me yet.

Moral to the story, unless it's on your records deny any ailment or joint pain/stiffness.

Wise words, don't say ANYTHING. It will work out against you.

Do they take a blood test at any stage? I am not worried about it due to illegal reasons, but because I sometimes have a high level of uric acid in my blood, which is synomonous with the symptoms of gout, something which I do not experience other symptoms of, ie joint pain. I am otherwise in good health, getting fitter and getting ready to apply for PRMC in the New Year hopefully. Does anyone, currently serving or otherwise know anything about the policy for this? I am hoping that it will be looked at in the manner of 'if you can do the work, you can join' type of attitude?

Basically if your eyeballs go crossed when they grab your balls and ask you to cough then your masterbating to much!!! :D (I did try the w@#k word but as you can see the bloody programme thats used on the site removes such filth!).

Truth be told I could never figure out why they do it. Worst was when they used to do a short arm/body inspection which involved checking out various parts of your bits n bobs.

Once I'd trapped this ere party (a Female, OK?) and during the course of the night/day she had painted me toenails a deep crimson red.........................Well! I was young and she was more than willing!!!! I had to remove me boots n socks so the Doc could check me feet.................For two fecking weeks I got the piss taken out off me by my Oppos in no uncertain terms!!!!

It's to check whether you have a hernia...
