All arms P-Company

Post by Pilot999 »

The astute among you may be aware that I posted a similar question within the RM area of this forum, however due to hitting a brick wall with the guys at Lympstone I thought I may pose this one to the guys in here:

I am currently serving RAF aircrew with a few months of non-flying duties ahead of me. I am interested in gaining the FAC/Tac P qualification with a view to filling a post at some time in the near future. What I want to know is, is it possible for RAF personnel to attend the All Arms P- Company course with a view to becoming parachute qualified in the future? (I understand from a contact of mine at the school at Brize that they are massively overtasked so I know the jumps course wouldn't come anytime soon).

Thanks in advance....

I'm no expert but I think the RAF Regiment supply men for that role in 16 Airborne Brigade. 29 Commando Artillery supply similiar types for 3 Commando Brigade. So you may have to get re rolled as a Rockape or at least get attached to them.
