Hi Adam, been looking through your site and you have some great backpacks. I have recently taken an intrest in these as I need to purchase 1 for my outdoor pursuits instuctor course, so I've been doing a bit of window shoping. 1 thing you should do is put a price tag next to your products so the viewer has some idea if they(backpacks) are above their spending budget or not.
alright

Hi Adam,

Good to see you on the forum. I've seen a couple of uyour posts on the lightfighter.com forum and have been impressed with your observations about gear. Any thoughts on the PLCE kit that we use here, and any suggestions for modifcation?

PLCE for Ratty

Post by smamit »

Hi'ratty.Last year I modifed The PLCE webbing and bergen for Reserve duty.I need to carry a lot of gear in the webbing,This is what I did.
On the webbing I added X4 hand grenade & x2 smoke grenade Pouch's on the PLCE water bottle pouch's,I added on 2 more water Pouch's & a big Back pouch. The PLCE water pouch's I used to carry camo netting, wool hat ,binoculars, etc. I was carrying up to 80 7.62mm rounds & x7 m-16 mags.I also added a bit of padding on the belt,I like how it sit's low and is good for liying and shooting, not so good for running.
On the begen I put some foam in the back that I can take out for sleeping and some quick release buckles on the harness.
anyway I hope this helps, Adam

Thanks for the tips.

Did use a US style Butt Pack?

Is so which one?

Is their kit quite easy to fit onto an PLCE rig.
