On the topic of recruits standing out, can't they just go into the pubs/clubs separately like in 3's or something? I mean if it was here in 'boro a troop of skinheads would blend in even more
And just because you're in RT doesn't mean you'll wear the stereotypical stuff recruits wear on a night out does it? I'd like to think I could still wear the stuff I'd normally wear out back home, like smart casual stuff, NOT smart shirts, shoes and denim jeans.

I went into a pub with 2 others and was told to leave, even if you went in by yourself to meet up with others they would kick you out. Recruits are easy to spot. I mostly wore trainers, jeans and a t-shirt. Sometimes the duty Corporal would check to make sure you were wearing a belt, shirt was ironed etc, so it's a little bit restricted. Definitely no tracksuits.
