Text speak aside - how is spelling 'do' as 'du' any more efficient?mfat_man wrote:DJDG06DJDG06* wrote:right a few questions wot i cant find answers 2 on this site

1) Your a f***ing idiot, and the military won't want you.
2) Leadership tasks mostly - exactly what depends on the team on the day. You will be in a team, with a problem to solve that will involve you all working togther and someone showing natural leadership.
3) No idea.

mate seriously, what do you think would happen if they found cannabis in your system during a medical, you would not have a hope in hell of joining, it's common sense. you just have to work out which is more important to you ......... your career or your joints.DJDG06* wrote:right a few questions wot i cant find answers 2 on this site

I don't know if the Army has a differnet medical but as far as I am aware the Marines didn't check for it. But you can have a drugs test at any point during your career and you won't know about it until it's about to happen.
In some of the literature I received from them it did say somewhere that they understand in todays' society that people may have dabbled in the past, etc. etc.
Basically, stop doing it now and don't do it again if you are serious about joining any section of the forces. You will have to sign a declaration to say that you understand and agree with their drugs policy (which is zero tolerance), so if you get caught, it's more than they need to give you your marching orders.
Best advice is to be honest with your careers advisor, tell him that in the past you have done whatever you have done and that you are worried that it may show up/go against you. Make it clear that it's well and truely behind you though (assuming that it is).

Forget the weed or anything else you are taking as this will show up in the medical tests and also having that s9ite in your lungs won't help with the PTIs get hold of you
