Initial Medical at start of RT

Post by JoeAllen28 »

hey guys
ive used to search function but couldnt really seem to find anything about this. ive had my medical as part of the application process (which wasnt particulary thorough) but was just wondering if you have another more in-depth medical at the start of RT, and if so what it involves?

cheers, joe

They just go over anything that might have popped up in your medical or your records like an injury you might have had and see if thats ok. You then get blood taken and have any injections you havent had yet and you also go to the dentist.

the most needles you get is 3 not including getting your blood taken, you get small brusing from the blood taken and then i think its either 2 in the right arm and one in the left and they leave you a little sore the next day but nothing to big to worry about.

They'll be able to sort it out but they only check your teeth in week 1 or 2 whenever it is i cant remember. Any actual work that needs doing will be done in week 13 onwards.
