The PGAQ was a nightmare. Not the training but me and this other guy called Gary were bullied
. I thought that the RAF would be more friendly and less aggressive than the army or marines but I can tell you now that I was wrong. I was strangled in the night by this other recruit who was around 5 stone heavier than me and kicked in the balls. The other guy Gary got kneed in the head !!!. Gary reported it to the corporal but he said it was nothing to worry about. One of the raf regiment soldiers there said that he got bullied and alot of his friends did when they joined but after 6 months everything gets better. What is your verdict, I am actually fearing life in the regiment now even though people were saying I was one of the best recruits there. Has anyone else ever got bullied ?

I know it's not nice to get beat up/bullied but judging from your other post too you don't seem to have the stomach for the military, particularly any kind of combat arm. Pick another trade or just don't join the military at all, it'll be the best thing for you.
Little tip if you do decide to join up and someone who's bigger than you strangles you in the night, wait til he goes to sleep then beat the s**t out of him with something. There's always ways of taking care of people even if they're tougher than you in a straight up fight.
But seriously I'd suggest you choose another career you really don't seem cut out for the physicality of life in the forces.

... we never had anything like this on my Cadre I am pleased to say. If we had a person like this on board we would have dealt with him, there is no need for unprovoked voilence

Well I guess I will have to seriously think about not joining the military then, even though the corporal said I was one of the best there
. Maybe this bullying thing was rare but it still scared the crap out of me and I wasn't even being big headed or anything because I am rather quiet so there was totally no need for the violence shown towards me. Anyways this guy is a pratt, he strangles me in my sleep and when I punch his neck he bloody kicks me in the balls, I mean who does such a thing like that, I thought more along the lines of a boxing match if he has such a grudge. Well maybe I will try a different job in military or maybe join civvy police. Thanks for the help guys, I thought military guys were more honourable and caring but guess there is alot of bullies around and people who abuse their power.

I don't mean to keep sounding like I'm having a go at you mate but even though the corporal said you were one of the best on the course, it's no good just being fit and switched on if you haven't got the stomach for violence. Despite the image some people portray, the Forces isn't the Peace Corps and most soldiers, airmen and sailors like nothing more than a good punch up on a Friday/Saturday night.
Although I don't know you, and so this is obviously a big assumption, from what I've read in your posts I think it'd be a disaster for you to join any kind of front line force and I don't mean that as an insult I just think that if you ever got put in a combat situation it would effect you quite badly.
You sound like a guy who wants to a challenge and to see the world and so your naturally drawn to the military but I think what has escaped you is the fact that in the military that comes with the price of seeing things most people would prefer not to and in the case of Infantry troops etc... closing down and killing other people and I don't think you've got that in you and thats probably not a bad thing mate.
Just take some time to think about what you really want out of life and if you do decide that the military is for you try aircraft reloader or something like that were your part of a team but chances are you won't be getting involved in any combat.

was it completely unprovoked?
if i was in your position i would have waited until he was unaware and taken him out good and proper.
have you thought about the MOD police maybe?
you're only 18, so give it a couple of years and see how you feel then if you choose not to enter at this point.

YOu obviously passed PGAC, f@#k that off to the back of your mind as it bears little relevance to the TG course, for one TG course is 10 times harder physically. If what you described had happened on course I can tell you now the fella who did it would have been taken round the back of the block where nothing but the airfield can see you and sorted out. It just doesn't happen on course as people nkow the bobby moore, fair enough a few of the lads might end up scrapping or coming close but overall you will become tight as with 95% of your flight. The other 5% will be useless choppers who somehow have slipped under the radar thus far. Do it mate, basics will toughen you up and give you the stomach for it, it will also mature you and make you a man and a better one than you'd be as another Joe Civvi, TG course is bloody hard but great at the same time, 7 weeks to go for me all being well.
P.s. If you're lucky you might get in in time for the next Capitals Flight, Caps is where you wanna be hardest training flt in RTS(B).

Thanks for the advice guys and I know that you are not having a go at me, that was really some good advice. I may just go to civvy police or might even try intelligence corp in the army, definetly not in combat infantry or anything, you guys have probably saved me from a nightmarish disastor later on thanks alot.
