Cheers lads. Just about taken it all in. Still haven't actually SEEN the letter, as I'm away from home until Friday. Rang my mum drunk about half nine last night:

"Read it to me again!" :D

Can't wait to get stuck in. That said, I think I need the six weeks to get my fitness up again, as I've just been 'ticking over' for the last few weeks, as I've had a shed load of work on. Best get running.

Well done mate, thats a big achievement. You must be so relieved now as I know I would be! Still haven't heard anything from AIB yet so you must have been at the top of the pile!
POC: 8th May - Passed
AIB: 28th June - Passed
Final Selection: Failed!

Deadhead, what can I say, only two from these forums (including you) have been selected for the batch. Very well done and I wish you all the best.

Really? Wow. I thought there were more than that.

I'll try and post updates as to how things are going. A 'YO in residence' type affair. But no promises, as I think I might be quite busy. :D

Deadhead, are you a graduate or did you apply with just A levels?

I'm currently finishing a PhD in molecular virology. that's why I'm so old (25). Doing the PhD was one of the reasons I applied for the marines (long story).
