ok basicaly i think i reached my peek. Im 17 so be nice :P

i can do 50-55 press ups at the moment and i usealy do 40 ish every hour all day.

but i cant seem to get past 55 and its realy fustrating sinse my arms just go like jelly, i heard of these pyrimid press-ups but im not sure if im doing them properly.

am i right time sayign you do. 5-10-15-20-15-10-5??

last thing is: is it just my bones not developed yet sinse im only 17? and bones develop at 18 fully?

You can also do 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 then back up to ten. Works well for me.

i also do the pyramid press-ups but the way i do mine is 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 but thats only 55 press-ups all together maaybe start from 12 or something.

is that 55 in 2minutes?

Starting on 20 and dropping down a rep with a little rest in between is good. If you go from 20-1 you do 210 reps.

You could also do what i do somtimes, when your watching tv wait for an advert to come on and do as many press ups as you can do until the programme you was watching comes back on.

i did pyramids before i went to prmc 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 then back up to 10. although when i was doing this i was fresh, try to go a run or something before you do pressups as when you are on prmc you will have less energy due to the 3 miler and bleep test.

Same as what I do fella!

I do 30 press-ups for pretty much every 'lazy offence' such as coming onto the computer, in every commercial break on tv, forgetting to call people ect....

It's working well, I think I'm doing about 500 push-ups a day because of it!

I think I might starting doing that. As for the advert idea, I do it often but I can never last to the adverts finish :oops: . If I were to just keep my arms extended for as long as possible will that help?

I found actually aiming to keep going for 2 mins helped massively, I used to only be maxing out and stopping which took about 45secs to a min getting about 30 or 35, when I started going for 2 mins I improved much more (started doing twice as many :lol: )

or try what i do. whenever there is a football match on watch it. for every free kick (that included handballs, fouls and offsides) do 5 marine style pressups. its well worth having a go i love it

pyrimid Press up is that just a Stamina builders term for a joe bloggs press up :D ?
