Passed PRMC!

Post by GB »

Well folks, Just got back home now and have got my new boots and wee certificate. PRMC was everything I expected, thanks mainly to this site, and in general most of us had a great time down there. I'll be happy to answer any questions though most of the stuff seems to have been already covered in previous posts. For anyone who cares about scores etc, here's what I managed to get:

3 miler: Passed
Bleep Test: 11.8
Pressups: 62
Situps: 69
Pullups: 6

Bottom field was the hangout that you would expect but I got through that ok. Gym test 2 is another story, but I'll post up about that soon. Off out now to celebrate.

Alright folks, Here goes for the answers.

Brian: I think we had 37 starting the course, and 26 or 27 passed.

Steve6887: yeah, there were boys that did a lot worse, and there were boys that were better than me. As long as you passed every test, you passed the course. I'm not sure if this is the case all the time though.

Hughser: Not much I can say about Bottom Filed that hasn't been covered to death beforehand. Its a hangout as you would expect, and as long as you're prepared for the pain, there's nothing that they'll throw at you that you won't be able to do. Train hard, and you'll be fine. It's only 30 minutes tops. Re: Gym Test 2, I reckon it's almost as much of a hangout as bottom field since you're still ruined from the morning. I can personally only comment on one of the games, as I pulled my hamstring quite badly during it and couldn't continue. Luckily, I must have impressed already as I was allowed to sit the rest out and still passed. :D

MrC: I've just been told that my RT date is the 31st July. If anyone else is heading down then, fire me a PM.

I think that's all for now, any more Q's and I'll do my best to answer them.

Congratulations mate!!!!. Well done on passing, you must admit it's a great feeling. I must stress anyone is capable of passing it. With the effort and correct mental ability anyone can do it.
