Well chaps I'm affraid I won't be joining you on Sunday.....I've been thrown a lifeline, and delayed my POC to the 19th, last one of the year! Was back at hospital this morning and the nurses just laughed when I asked if I'd be able to attend POC after explaining what it was, so I called up my AFCO and the diamond sorted it out for me! Absolute legend, there is no way I'll have healed skin back on my hand by the weekend so I couldn't be happier. Two extra weeks in boots can't be a bad thing either, unless a twisted ankle is next on the list.......WOOD WOOD FIND ME SOME DAMN WOOD!
25 years old and I am having quite literally my last possible shot to become a n RM officer! Sense of relief is quite large at the moment. You lads seem well sorted so I wish you all the luck in the world for next week, make sure you elt me know exactly what I missed out on so I can sweat it out for an extra 2 weeks!

Got train times - get in at lympstone at 16:42 from exeter. Changing into my suite is going to be a bit of a problem but i'll figure it out. Just had my last training sesh and don't think i've picked up any injuries
Apart from the Iran development i don't think there is much on the current affairs front...my Adrenalin's pumping already - i'm going to be buggered come monday

Cheers guys - had a bit of a strange 1! We started with 17 - 6 were axed after RMFA, 1 after bottom field and 1 did not complete the endurance course - so 9 passed. It was intensely warm for the 3 days - mid to high twenties. So hot infact that the endurance course was not allowed to go ahead on tuesday afternoon. We did the BST instead and did the endurance course this morning, at a pace! I had the squits on tuesday and was sick this morning just after beakfast - it made it more interesting! ...if i remember correctly i passed.
For POC 99.999% need not apply! Colours threatened to screw my mum - i wasn't going to argue with the man & the two captains were sorted guys!
more to follow.....
