i bought a book called commando winning the green beret by hugh mcmaners. has anyone else read it

I read this book about 3 years ago. I then bought a second hand copy off Amazon last year and read it again. I liked it, although I did not know much about the corps or the terminology. I think it is good, and still relavant. If I read it again I am sure I will get more out of it having discussed things on these forums and gone thorugh the application process.

As far as I know theres no videos about training in the royal marines or about even about the royal marines. Best bet is to just ask if you can watch some down your AFCO, as they'll b more that happy to have you sit in there offices and watch the vids.

ive read abit of it, i was actually posting in another topic about where i could get it, good stuff. Im trying to read the other half that i didnt read. I do think it is abit dated though
