Three Peaks Challenge

Post by taffy sapper »

Anybody got any tips or advice on doing the Three Peaks Challenge? Have been tasked to organise it as a 'Team Building' challenge by my employers.

Would appreciate any advice anybody can give on the organisation of such a challenge, or some good websites etc. Have done a google search and come up with some useful sites, but the more info I can get the better.

Thanks

Try and time it so you are driving when the roads are quiet! There is nothing more gutting that putting in your full effort on the hill for it all to be undone by being stuck in traffic. Gutting!!

Have Fun
Cheers

My brother did a while back well I guess that with most things prep is the key e.g. a few weekends away walking in Wales/Lakes will help 8) The Ben on it's own is really hard work, I did it w while back withouth any real training and I strained my thigh ligaments :( Also as the path up there is nearly all stone there is a lot of jarring so invest in some walking poles to help with the impact.
