I will probably going to the RSC in about 3 months time. Im currently training in the gym and lots of street running.
Im trying to get as fit as possible after years of being overweight, im 6'3 and weigh 15'7 so im trying to get my weight down.
I feel that I should be ok with the fitness side when the time comes, however i worried about heaves/pull ups, I cannot do 1. I cannot lift my own bodyweight. Im using the pull up machine at the gym with a counterbalance weight but im seriously worried I will fail the RSC because of it.
Any advice?

At RSC you dont have to do any pullups to pass, just give it your BEST EFFORT and they will mark you accordingly. There are many different tests and tasks through out the 2 days that can get you some good marks back. team tasks especially

I will give it my best.
At the moment Im doing alot of running. 1 day i will do a timed 1.5 mile and aim to lower my time on each occasion, 1 day i will do an endurance run (extending the distance each week), at thr gym i am doing cross training, all sorts of weights, different excercises. I am ok with press ups and situps, when it comes to rsc i should be able to do 60 situps and press ups.

No you do a lap of the camp (1.5 miles is 2 laps) The lap isnt full out running thou you pause to do some stretches then job say with kness up then kicking back feet, then maybe up the pace then slow down, its to show you the way as well. I can run a mile and a half in 10 mins but got 10.38 at RSC. If I was you I wud do a similar warm up first then do your mile and a half as its definatley different after a warm up like that. As long as you dont stop thou you will pass - simple as that
