The good, the bad and the ugly......bits of prmc

Post by nufc_rulz »

Well thought i'd start a thread so that people who have done prmc can reminisce about the good bits of prmc and the not so good parts and so that people who are waiting to do theirs can have a bit of heads up for what to look out for.

Good - Passing and finishing bottom field 8)

Bad - Freezing our b*llocks off doing drill first thing in the morning.

Ugly - the ginger PTI ..... mark time GO

Ugly - forgetting your spade when you get to the top of the Hill after the water tunnel and the PTI informs you in a pleasent manner to run back down and get it! I was hanging out the first time up it! The warm up prior to endurance was abit ninja aswell if I remember right.

Do you still do endurance on the PRMC???????
Do you still carry garden implements???

No endurance course on Prmc any more only on POC.

No garden implements either, probably because there wasnt much time for doing the weeds

Thinking about it now the 3 days just seem like one big blur :o

When I went through the PRC as it was called in them days, we either carried a pick or a spade whilst going around the endurance course. Didnt do the 4 miler back to CTC though, or fire off ten rounds from your spade

I did the endurance course for POC. Hand to carry the implements too. I kept getting the standpipe, which was heavier than everything else.

Good idea NUFC...

Good - Finding Gym test 2 good fun.

Bad - Being amongst the first in line to do timed run of assault course, completely and utterley fragged.

Ugly - Having me towels nicked on the first day there from the drying room. (Got em back last day.)
