We were in the field when one of the lads had a birthday. After the usual beasting from hell in the morning we returned to parade outside the DS tent where they had made a lovely birthday cake out of Eros lard (only) with a half inch sprinkling of curry powder on the top and set off with a mine tape decoration round the edge. We were then 'invited' to celebrate the joyous occaision with a hefty piece of 'cake' each, some ungrateful souls hoyed it all straight back up though - and 'adopted the position' of course.

I think that would be wise. Good luck with it all.
