YOUR length of sevice + final rank....

Post by Unoriginal Taff »

Hi guys, my first post. This place is pretty cool, been reading it for about a week now. Anyway here's the lowdown on myself first (very brief)
I'm a good old welshy (stop making sheep noises at the back  ) and obviously intrested in the military: The Royal Marines. I'm 19 and i really bored of living in Wales. Can't wait to join, just getting myself up too scratch physically is the hardest part (but hey who says the royal is easy....apart from the wren :P )

Anyway thats the foreplay outta the way (already thinking like a Royal  )

How long did you spend in the Royal/band (with dates like 81 - 92) and wat rank did you eventually attain + any other info you care to share. This is not ment to be a compitition or braggin thread just like to put some corps history to the names so to speak.

Cheers

I see a sheep with my name on it !!! 8)

PS. If your reading - feel free to join in - not exclusivly for royals (...jump in wat service, regiment, dates etc) plus if your spouse is in the service let us know. But none bullshit of whos best.....cos we all know who

Taff welcome to the board. I am not RMR (plain old infantry stab!) but I hope you find this board useful :)
