Army Plumber

Post by day tripper »

I was wondering when training as an army plumber do you recieve the same sort of qualifiactions you would get as a civvie plumber.

After leaving the forces, could one go on and me a plumber with the skills gained?

Sensible answers please.

I am doing RE Electricain and have been told that, as an electrician, you will mainly get industrial electrics qualifications, which is fine in some civvy jobs. However, on leaving you can do courses, with the Army, to allow you to become a real civvy electricain to permit you to do crappy civvy jobs like fitting lights.

Assume same for Plumber.
