PRMC 20th Sept

Post by JdOnline »

Wow, just got home tonight to find a letter on the floor from Her Majestys Service basically confirming that I have been booked in for my PRMC on 27th Sept with my briefing on 29th Aug.

Opps, almost forgot to introduce myself. Ok, I've been browsing these here forums for about a month now and have found it very insightful, although I came across it too late to make too much of a change to my training, unfortunately.

Anyway, I have been training using the Royal Marine Fitness Schedule for about 6 months. I can run 3 miles in 21 min, followed by 47 press-ups, 59 sit-ups and 8 pull-ups.

Unfortunately, been having some bad family problems over this last month, so its been difficult keeping up with training sometimes, but I try.

Anyone know what I should be doing from now until PRMC, will the above stats get me through and anyone else on this PRMC interested in chatting, etc?

And, good luck to everyone doing this PRMC!

Those are good scores. Keep it up and put the effort in and you'll be joining a troop in a couple of months.

Hye guys

You really think those are decent scores, ashley? I think they're alright, but I really want to increase them. I reckon I have a chance of passing with them, but all depends on the day. Just out of interest, is there anything you can recommend doing before my PRMC that will help ie running, press-ups, etc?

Hayabusa, PRMC is 20th Sept, mate, so we're not on the same one

Good luck with yours tho!

Thanks

I think you'll find this is what caused the confusion!
Anyway best of luck to both of you!
