No longer Sam's Dad

Post by Contractor »

Well Sam's Dad was my former Username but have now changed it to this one......I'm still Sam's dad though!

Sam failed his PRMC (muppet) so is now looking to join the Army, maybe RE, so I have disinherited the former username.

As for me - ex Army WO2, served my 22 years with the Royal Corps of Transport, although they bundled the Pioneers/Posties/Blanket Stackers and others into something called the RLC just as I was leaving.

Regards to all - Tony

How did he fail? You let us know his stats and I was fairly impressed, thought he'd breeze it! Pass on my commiserations and best wishes for a career in the Army.

Hey Dan, when I said fail I should have put 'referred' for 12 months.

He let himself down on the Bleep Test, same as before. Loved the Assault Course and the lower field though, he thought it was great - strange lad.

So, 12 months is to long to wait when you are 17, he has been looking at what the Army has to offer.

Can't believe he failed on the Bleep Test though, still such is life.

Will pass on your good wishes.

Whatever young Sam decides, best of luck to him.
After all, Contractor, the Army never did you any harm

Surely not THE Stuart 'Diddy' Hamilton, former member of Pans People and concubine of Elvis Presley?
Nah, never met him.
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

Stuart Hamilton, name does not ring a bell, but a lot of alcohol has addled my brain, so I may know him!!

Will keep you up to date on how Sam gets on with the pongo's!

Regards to all

P.S. I am not an IT Contractor, Contractor was our call sign!
