how well liked are the military police because you start of as a Lance Corporal, have a good chance of getting a commission you are also trained like any other soldier, and also have there own Airborne unit. it just seems like a good job to go into.

apart from EVERYONE will hate you, shit bust. Int have alot more than 5 places per year, i suggest you get your AFCO to contact the recruitment team at chicksands and get you some up to date information if you're interested.

i would prefer the army but which jobs in the RAF allow you to join as a sergeant

Edit: will you start out as a sergeant if you go in to be a Weapon Systems Operator or will you most likely be a lance corpral or corpral because you start out on £28,000 which is a lot of money for a lance corpral that's what is making me think this is a job where you will start out as a sergeant

I think you need to grow up Boris because these are the bonest questions Ive ever read!

Quick promotion? Whatever you are if your good you'll get promoted. If your crap you wont.

My best mate joined as a chef and did all arms and pcoy, got to full screw, then went APTC and got sgt, now he is a staffy and going for a commission. He's a top bloke and works farking hard. The lads like and respect him and he is qual'ed up to the neck.

Seems to me you want to run before you can walk and get rank when you havent earnt it. Why is this? DO you want to shout and bully other people?? I suggest you grow up , wise up and consider the "job" you want to do and then do it well.

Promotion is a mark of trust and reward and you wont get either asking people which is the quickest way before you join up or even when you are in.

It was said earlier in the thread, the job is more improtant than future promotion because if you hate your job, you wont do it well and end up going nowhere.

and that is why i have asked if the qualifications i have will allow me to join the military police because that is a job i will enjoy, my future jobs were going to be either join the army or join the police force but this i get to do both. Plus it comes with many opportunites such as i have stated before there own airbourne, many chances to do sport such as skydiving and scuba diving and you do all the other things infantry men do. i dont see why i need to grow up just because i care about my future and i want to do well and make the most of it you insist that i am being childish, and by asking questions that i belive will truly help me i am also according to you being childish. the questions i ask i ask for a reason, i dont ask them just to make conversation or for some reason upset people like you.
