Whats it take to become a pilot - Fighter jet

Does anyone know what it takes to become a pilot in RAF as a fighter Fast Jet Pilot , such as the more operation/mission side jobs by a pilot.. I mean what education or qualifications are needed for it.. What type of selection course is it? Is it hard? Or if any one has any information about this please post.

Matrix, English seems to be your second or maybe even your third language, so have you ever considered applying to the Airforce within your country of birth?

You asked for advice on a topic that requires a strong education and an above average intellect, sadly the way in which you asked shows you are lacking in both.

If you want people to take you seriously and answer you appropriately then I suggest you dot the i's and cross the t's.

Maybe you could combine going for your green lid with pilot school as I would guess with your attitude as soon as you turn up at CTC you will be taught how to fly by the training team as they launch you back into civvy street. By using a fist!

English is my first lanuage man and this is my country of birth. I always type fast and kind of used to txt style probly because every one does it around here ( where i live ) Any ways i still want to get the green lid but i was just looking around too see what eles there is. Im taking my GCSE at the momment and i'l probly get good grades so no problem there.

P.s Hostage keep posting your ball shit i anit bothered it is kind of funny

And Doc i understand what your saying but just chill out.. take it easy i just wanted to find something out.. Every time i post i always get blasting. I anit bothered though but every one just needs to chill out around here.

Matrix you would appear to have the qualities required of a Red Arrows pilot.

Incidentally this is NOT a compliment which ever way you want to spell it!

Get your ignorant arse down to the nearest AFCO or check out the RAF website for some rudimentary information on a career which, from your current impression here, is beyond you.

I have a couple of mates who are fast jet aircrew. They can both spell and articulate well. Get the idea?
