One piece of advice, dont do what loads of people do, turn upto PGAC complete it and think you have to stay at that level of fitness. You need to be fitter than the tests they have you do.

Get stuck in, make friends, show common sense, don't give up on any of the tests and keep smiling.

STFU, you will all make it into the RAF reg. If my mate(who is the youngest person in the reg) made it then you all can. He was unfit when he went in and he in has week and a half until passout parade. Then he's off to field gunners course.

Didn't realise that you had successfully completed PGAC and TG, just as well I realised because I was about to let you have full salvo for being a Dick! Then I would have looked stupid what with you having done PGAC and TG! You have done these haven't you?

Well, we should just scrap the PGAC course and let this military genius vet our Rock candidates. Bwahahahaha!

Passed the PGAC course and being recommended, i really enjoyed it and found a lot about what the RAF regt do.

A few pointers I would say to people going down is:-

1) Discipline was strict from the start (you will get shouted at, a few lads binned it because they could not handle it).

2) Put all of your swimming stuff and gym kit in your sport bag when you get there.

3) (the most important one) practice running with weight otherwise you WILL hang out of your arse on the 3K TAB. For me this was the hardest part of the course, but stick at it and you will feel proud of yourself afterwards (remember pain is temporary but pride is forever).

4) Room inspection- no matter how well you clean your kit you WILL get shouted at and shit yourself (little tip clean your webbing as the corpral will inspect this VERY closely).

5) Wear a shirt and tie for your interview on day 3 ( a few lads didn't and got a right ear full).

29 started the course and 22 passed.

If anyone has got any questions about PGAC just ask or try the RAF regt website
