Graduating soon - need advice

I am graduating from university soon (next month) and have wanted to pursue a career in the navy for a few years. Does anyone know how long the application process will take? I am going to apply over the summer. I will have a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics - will this degree restrict me from any of the Officier specialisations? Hope you can help

Your degree means you cant be an engineer, doctor or dentist.

Don't know how long the process takes, go to the careers office, they will be able to tell you. I had a mate who started Dartmouth at the beginning of May, and I think it was about 6 months from application to start date.
