Avionics Trade..open??

does anyone know if the raf are taking people on for Avinoncs/Electrics at the mo or within the next 6-9 months?

is this a hard trade to get into, id say im technically minded (electronic gadgets n all that) just that i dont think there is another trade that takes my fancy!

Hi ya, i have been trying to get into the avionivs trade since last june. I have just managed to get an interview in the next week, its pretty tough to get in but if its something you want to do. You will do anything to do it.

It does help if you have qualifications, i have a BTEC and HNC in electronics plus i have been working for electronic companies for about 4 years.
