Another Broken Nod from MF! (i think thats 4 so far)
keeping your morale up is going to be the hardest thing.i was down at Lympstone the other week and we used nods from hunter.one guy had just failed bottom field and put in hunter and was going to put his chit in.i told him he`s just wasted only to rap his tits in when the going gets tough.its hard i know but you need to stay away from the rap hands it`s contagious.get yourself some chad books on the corps etc and bury your head in them and hopefully you`ll rediscover the reasons behind you joining in the first place. GOOD LUCK.many have done it before you and are now serving in my beloved corps.

sorry to jump on the thread, but what exactly happens in hunter company. I have had a look on the navy web site and searched the forums but couldnt see anything. What i mean is do you have an instructor who puts you through personal training every day until you get better or what? im not too sure. Just out of curiousity really.

They have remedial PTIs whose job is to keep your okay bits fit whilst fixing and building up strength in the broken bits. So every bloke has his own tailored phys program, along with any physio, icing etc he requires. The rest of the time they have lectures and exercises similar to regular training, although obviously altered to fit round the injuries; they actually get to cover more stuff than lads who pass out as originals a lot of the time. As you get back to full fitness, you get thrashed back up to the overall level of fitness of whatever troop you're joining.
Sure one of the lads in there will be able to give you lots more gory details...

Sorry to hear youre in Hunter mate. A lot of lads from my troop- 881 are in there at the mo. My room mate who i started training with was put in there on friday, week 28!! i was guttered to see him go.
Keep youre head up. Thisll be a true test of your motivation and determination to not be beaten and to carry on when you want to give up. If you can get yourself through Hunter youll be able to look back on the experience when faced with another shit situation with a stronger confidence then you would have if you werent in there.
Try to rediscover youre motivations, keep focused on them and get yourself out of there, out of Lympstone and into a unit.
Best of luck mate.

You'll hack it no problems. Don't forget that once your in a unit you will look back on the Hunter Tp experience as just a very minor Hic-Cup in your career. Your old Oppos you joined up with will still be around and best of all you will make rucks of new ones.
Hows Mike from Nantwich getting on? Poor bloke knackered his Hip a few months ago and will be in Hunter Tp until April so he told me the last time I saw him. He joined the same time as Machiavellian did.
It was me who first got him interested in the Corp and he
 "still"
talks to me when he sees me!

Artist mike's all alright, he's in my grot a top lad when pissed
he got pissed last night and decided to put his rig on and a fully packed bergan and webbing and crack 2 camp circuits!
What a legend. Machiavellen is also still in hunter.
Jackal i don't think i do know him no.
Fortunately for me i seem to be in a grot with good blokes, they've helped me out loads so at the minute hunter isn't too bad. My RI has told me because i cant weight bear on my foot he's just going to get me massive and get me pushing loads of weights, which can't be bad. So hopefully when its summer leave and i can walk around a bit, i'll be able to limp around the beach flexing my 'massive'guns.
