i know what you mean, im 15 but my dad went into AIB (didnt heave to do POC in his day) and he was only rejected as the others were wealthy ...well you know the type. I believe it was like that in his day (bout 15-20 years ago) but i would hope they would see past that and focus on your leadership skills as well as academic, im hoping to apply for POC after uni where i will take a degree in teaching. cheers, Andy

I did it with just A-levels, and yes it is hard in the first few weeks of training being the sprog in the batch, but things soon level out, you'll get it if you work hard enough.
