WOOHOO!! PASSED PRMC!!

Post by Daveb »

Got back yesterday and ache all over!!

I can honestly say that was the toughest 3 days I have EVER had in my entire life!! There were times where I wanted to quit, but I carried on. It's so true what they say - 'Strength in Mind'.

I will probably start my 32 weeks Commando training either late January or early February - need to speak to my AFCO to sort it out.

Went out last night to celebrate and got wasted! I think more celebrating is in order tonight :P

My scores were -

Bleep test - 11.4
Press ups - 57
Sit ups - 49 (shit)
Pull ups - 4 (I can usually do more, but only got this much)
Assault Course - 3.34
Completed the 3 miler in about 19.5 minutes though they didnt give us individual times
Risk rating - 5 (which apparently is very good!)

I'll write up a full diary soon lads.

20 people started (a VERY small course)

1 turned up a day late as his AFCO told him the wrong date so he was booted

1 had the shits so got medically withdrawn

1 almost died (I think) on bottom field and was medically withdrawn

about 2 more failed. NO ONE pulled out at all which apparently is extremely rare.

Altogether, I think 16 passed. It was a 'once in a blue moon' course where enarly everyone passed.

It basically means how they think you will fair up in training. It's rated 1 - 6. 1 being that the person could be a risk and could fail, 6 meaning that they have a good chance of passing. 2 is the average apparently.
