Rooms at honington (Regt Training)

Can anyone with past experience please tell me what the rooms and ablutions are like a RAF Honington whilst in Regiment Basic Trainging. like to know out of interest.

i havent been there myself but saw a couple of pictures from someones regiment training before

just looked like a normal army style bed, its a room, has a locker and a bed

all you need i suppose

For a start there 10 man rooms. Abultions happpen if your up early, hot water is readily avalible on occasion (not after feildcraft). Little privacy .... Radiators are simply there for show and every so often may be switched on to provide no heating. Washing machines are the best in the british forces, (when there is enough coal to fuel them!).

Theres your basic lowdown on facilities, enjoy! And if you're really lucky, you may be allowed in the recruits bar once every week where the bar staff only give you a drink if you have waited at the bar for at least 20 minutes and then get on your knees and beg! And even then your veeeeerrrrrrry lucky!
