I'm on the same flight as hyper and i'm absolutely bricking it.

I still haven't had confirmation of getting in as i'm waiting for them to confirm my blood samples are fine! I've been told by the doctors i have Gilberts syndrome (Can handle more waste than most normal people) but i've also been told it'll never effect me in life. But i phoned yesterday and they said the cheif of the medical board is looking over my results

Scared of not getting in...but also scared about going in!

Rung them up for the THIRD time and they said that the president of the medical board is very busy and hasn't had a chance to look yet.

I told her that i'm supposed to be starting in just over 30 days time and for 16 of those days i'm in Sri Lanka.

I said that they need to show some urgency as how am i supposed to prepare for something when they won't even give me a straight answer on something that will never effect me in life.

I just feel like telling them to stick it and i'll go look for a career elsewhere. It's a disgrace and if i don't get in i'll be writing them a letter and asking them to sort the communication out. One letter won't change everything but it'll put me at rest...something they haven't f@#k managed.

They're still taking the piss. I'm really losing focus on the whole thing. If they can't be bothered to ring me and keep me updated (Whether it be a case of they're still busy and wait a few more days) then why should i help them out? And the ultimate cheek of it all, after spending all day trying to get through to them they picked up the phone a minute ago and put the f@#k thing straight back down

Spoke to a bloke who helped really well. Actually got my results and everything and took them to the president of the medical and actually got things moving.

Everything is fine, they still need the consultant to confirm the ECG but they can’t see anything wrong with it. He said it’s 99.9% that I’m in. Will find out on Wednesday most likely whilst I’m away in Sri Lanka

Having just found out how much my house is now worth, I've decided to sell it. Only problem is, the estate agent can't get round to do a valuation until a week on Monday (20th Sep) and I'm sposed to be heading down the M6/M5 on Tuesday...
Not a problem, just have to deal with them by phone for a week, then hand all responsibility to my parents. Question is, what am I sposed to do with all my furniture??? (I drive a Ford Ka)
Anyone want to buy any of it? Complete pine single bedroom set, less than 2 months old, cost over £200 new...

Either that or hire one of those secure storage units for a few quid a week until you get yourself sorted.

Or sell the house with the option of part/full furnishing. Some first time buyers might prefer that to having to buy everything for the house.
Its also best to leave some furniture in the house for while the estate agent is showing people round. Gives the prospectives an idea of what sort of stuff they will be able to fit in, and the place doesn't look cold and empty when they walk in.

I was thinking about storing it Loz, but I'd still need transport for it. Looks like I might have to arrange a house clearance for anything the buyers don't want. Be ok if it's a first-timer, but location makes it more likely to be young family. (Got a primary school at either end of my road!)

Shame really, I rather like my double bed!

Have a look in the local rag for one of those "Man and his Van" ads.
They'll come along, pick up the stuff and take it to the storage place, or you can hire a transit van from a rental company...you don't need a special drivers licence for that.

Think my ex has got a van, but he'd have to come and take my furniture apart by himself. Still, he helped put some of it together, so it shouldn't be too difficult!
