If I get selected for IOT do I go back for a 2nd medical or is it just certain branches ?

It's only aircrew Cathy, because of the amount of time spent at altitude, so you should be fine.

Also heard today that my mate who's already in the RAF is through, he starts his aircrew training Oct 3rd. I owe him rather a lot of beer when I join him at Cranwell, and the phone number of any nice girls on my course.

Haha cool. Well I heard on the grapevine today i'm looking at April now for an IOT start date if i'm selected!

Got a phonecall this morning asking me to get a repeat blood test sorted for potassium and bilirubin. Luckily i was going to the nurse to have my ears cleared (Mmmm lovely wax ) and doubly luckily she was able to take my blood there and then!

I've gotta cut down on bananas, tomatoes and.........*gulp* beer

Cranwell have receive the fax from my doctor, all 7 pages! But the boss isn't in to look at it until tomorrow, so they'll give me a call then.
More waiting, but at least it has a definite time limit on it.

Feels like I'm really on my way now, as they said they can't see any obvious problems with it.
I feel a notice letter forming in my brain....

The medical board are finished with me, I'm now being processed for clearing. So unless they find out about that time I tried to take down the government I'm in like Flynn!

Have I got time to get drunk and then sober up again before I have to go to work...?
