Hi Tom

Glad to hear you are enjoying it. You will have exercise 'first step' next week, which is basically a camping trip with sentry duties; Easy really.

Are you the youngest in your troop?, any other 16 year olds?.

Best of luck.

Good one Tom, keep drinking as much as you can at this time of year. The headaches are probably down to dehydration again.
Enjoy the rest of it you mad bastard!

Don't worry about enjoying training Machiavellian it does get worse. We've got plenty of nobber's and guys with no common sense. Ive lost count of the amount of times guys nick your kit even though its got your name on it on, leave their civvy tops dripping wet all over your drill shirt or keep on asking stupid questions even when we've only got 3 mins to get into PT rig then get hammered by our PTI for being late, also some can't even hold front support place or double mark time so we do tuck jumps instead. We nearly got our long weekend leave taken from us because we were told not to hold hands with our girlfriends and march around camp and some nobbers strolled past our company office with the Colonel inside ffs. Aparrently our families day was one of the worst aswell but we kept having gym session cancelled or abandoned and shown the basics again (nobbers). We are going to get thrashed on Monday but alls well.

Tom get back to your grot!

Seen as im section IC (not yet anyways!) ill be incharge

lads this is the shits! PT is class, we seem to have a really good fit troop!

everyone from PTI to Captain to CPLs said its a good bunch of lads, i feel that the tanking was meant to be a wake up call...but wasnt! also we got a 5 minute phys session in the grot but for soem reason was amusing and we where laughing at it!

Morale is amazingly high!! that will go!

one lads already left..aww bless..least he gave it a shot!

few are a bit fed up all ready appently

we go on first step on tuesday really cant wait..get away from the admin and get to do some "wary" stuff!

shit loads of iorning in foundatuion and yeh it is shit. i spent 7 hours when we got all our kit ironing and folding! but we had some tunes on and a laugh so what can you do!

troop before us seem to have it hard...very hard!!! one lad got pissed so the rest have been beasted for two weeks three times away, inlcuding mud runs and tankings!

anyway lads crack on!

cracked it now lads!

well foundation...to be fair it really hasnt been taxing or testing at all..everythings been faily easy..

we had a gym session against 880 troop which, come on lads you know we won! and some mad crazed team building exercise which involved carrying telegraph poles around the camp circuit...after 5 hard games inside!!

4 section came last...much to the disaproval of there CPL. an ML! shame they had there lumi tags still...he wasnt a happy bunny!

its a great life down there! we have a USMC gunnery sargeant, similar to full metal jacket! all he ever seems to say is stand by, i promise you and ill rake your arse across the coals men!

same section as Tom, few lets say 'biffs' in the troop! dont think they willl last long as the training team are on their backs. 1 has already left on compasionate grounds...was going to comit suicide! one left because he wanted to really and one left due to bad knees!

B blocks alright, big dated and the showers only tickle you...unless that was one of the lads

Admin is cracked get everything sorted by about 9 now with the aide of the laundrette and the dhobi shop!!!

Phys seems to be stepping up a few gears now! camp circuits and what not...rope climbing is easy with the right technique, everyone has nailed 1.5 climbs with no problems!

had a few lectures nothing to bad so far really, few weapons drills and the morale of the troop seems very very high for the time being!

Almost a 10th of the way through  only 29 weeks left! crack onnnnn!

Davo

Well done Davo, don't get too relaxed about it, you have only just climbed the first ramp. There are many false horizons ahead. Good luck, stay happy.

Now where's the phone number for Commando training Wing, they just cannot be allowed to have happy recruits. :o :o

jordiman you know that was a fix!

on the camp circuit your lad was the last back and we had to run about 100yards further!

sprints where close but couldnt tell as i was doing tuck jumps for scratching! :drinking: first and last bleeding time i tell you it was!

all we ever here is how your troop are a nightmare
specially the military law lecture bloke, sent you all out or something?

that big lad looks so much like The Rock :P

did you go on ex. last week? or have you got one when you get back?

...

Our Gunner Sgt. just seems to shout a lot, repeat him self and come up with some comical phrases! very similar to the one from Full Metal Jacket! he's halrious at times!

we got told to take our lumi tabs off on friday then took outside to the hill and made to run up n down it a fair few times with the odd press ups in there! ahh the joys
