bootneck,

I took the website ofline due to the hassle i was getting from the powers above. they were quite happy to let me be the voice of the families on GMTV, HTV and other media but things went t*ts up when the new CO came to play with his new toys. As much as i would love to have it up and running again it is not worth putting Jeds job in the firing line because that was what was underhandedly explained to me that could possibly happen. So quite frankly the tossers at Whitehall can give themselves a big pat on the back because they have taken away the only (except for this forum) dedicated website of support for the families and lads at 40 Commando. So in the words of Harry hackedoff 'they can go to fark'

Flo, i know how you feel, same as the Calendar last year, but as i said, other plans are in hand, and hopefully we WILL, get a memorial up for the guys of 3 Commando Brigade RM,who didn`t make it back under their own steam, up and hopefully situated somewhere near the Hoe. I have to get back to the guy`s who are doing the biz, unfortunately, one of the main men, (his father was a high ranking Naval Officer) is quite busy at the moment, (has been since we met last year( August i think)) with his new project, which will hopefully be done and dusted sooner rather than later. I have had speaks with another oppo of his, and will be e-mailing him some info soon, shyte, why not do it now. Flo, PM inbound

Cheers oppo. Buying my tv for a tenner does not count as 'chucking' a 'few quid in', ok? Actually, if you could get hold of my gay porn collection as soon as possible to prevent major post-mortem embarrasment, that would be mega helpful.

Nah, we've been mucked about for the last few weeks, very unsure of what was happening. The OC even got his desert boots repaired in town (according to the buzz). Then on Thurs morning we were told that 40 were off and we're being shipped out to America for a 3 month ex, this coming Wednesday. Nothing is set in stone but it looks like jungle training is going ahead. The units pretty annoyed to be honest. The ultimate tragedy would be for 45 to swan off to fight whilst we're showing the yanks how Royal does things.

40 get all the fun. :-?

Enjoy it while you can Dan, there'll be plenty of misery for you in the near future.

Famous expression of the 60s - '70s. "I'd rather f@#k than fight." (Pan's People Battle Cry)
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

Black Watch

Anyone know anything about the rumour regarding the Black Watch and it being merged... fitting reward I thought from the vermin scum in government for men that have just been to war... defence cuts are much preffered over the 10% pay rise that Maggie gave us.
Cull another regiment and they'll be able to take another weeks holiday a year in parliament.

I'm out in Iraq at the mo with 40 (A-Coy), Black Watch are also out here but we are not working with them. I haven't heared any buzz's about 42 or 45 yet. Speak to you soon.

Hey mate. Good to hear from you again. Didn't you go to 45 after you passed out?

General buzz is that 45 will be the next lot off if anything is required. Sadly, 42 has moved into the 'Viking' phase which is apparently more important. D'oh! Keep well and have a safe tour Royal. If you know an Omar , give him a slap. Cheers.
